Yamadori / Hardy / Semi-Hardy / Tropical

Yamadori is a Japanese term for trees collected from the mountains. The character in these trees can not be duplicated by growers and makes them very unique, even rare. The Hidden Gardens has been honored with acquiring 150+ of these gems from the Pacific Northwest. They were hand picked by international bonsai artist Walter Pall, making them even more special. Also acquired were another 30+ yamadori from Andy Smith, known for his collected trees from South Dakota, also very special. Each one of these trees has a story to tell of survival in the mountains. The twisted trunks and deadwood could only be created by mother nature. Stop by the Hidden Gardens to see these one-of-a-kind trees. Here are a few samples of these trees.
